Pierro Fornasetti Hot Air Balloon Tripod Table 1960s
This beautiful collector’s hot air balloon table by Piero Fornasetti is signed with the original label on the underside. The table is made of lacquered wood and decorated with numerous colorful hot air balloons on a light blue background. It stands securely on a removable brass tripod base.
The balloon motif and similar side tables with the same brass base are documented in the book “Fornasetti, The Complete Universe.” This rare piece is highly sought after by interior designers and collectors alike. It adds a touch of playfulness to any setting. The table is marked on the underside and is in very good vintage condition.
