Pierre Cruege Stacking Table France 1949
Set of three stackable partroy tables by Pierre Cruège in the editions Formes circa 1950.
Walnut top, strapping and brass base. This elegant set of three vintage Pierre Cruege Partroy side tables, cleverly nested together to create the illusion of a single, unified piece of furniture. Viewed individually, they reveal three elegant tables—each with exquisite walnut veneer and finely crafted brass wire trim, all in excellent condition. Practical and visually appealing, this trio embodies mid-20th-century elegance with a distinctive vintage flair. Whether used together or separately, they offer versatility, charm, and a sculptural presence that enhances any interior.
French designer and architect and decorator, Pierre Cruège is a prominent figure of this period of Reconstruction. His “Patroy” trundle tables presented at the Salon des Artistes décorateurs in 1949 were a great success, which led him to create a series production that met his requirements in finishes and choice of materials.
