Piero Fornasetti Table Lamp Italy 1950s

A beautiful and rare table lamp designed by the artist Piero Fornasetti from the 1950s. The wonderful lacquer prints of lamp has different designs on each of the four sides, first depicting clocks and watch mechanisms, then fish with fishing utensils, birds, wicker baskets and hunting equipment which gives the overall impression of a medieval still life as a scarlet background and complement the brass details of the lamp. The lamp has an E27 socket and features a cream fabric lampshade. A highly sought after piece by Fornasetti. Marked on the underside with the Fornasetti label.
