Monkey Style Svenskt Tenn Round Brass Stools Set of Two 1970

This vintage round Mid-Century modern stools from the 1970s features a padded seat covered in the iconic, jungle-themed “Monkey” print fabric by Svenskt Tenn and is supported by delicate brass hairpin legs. The exclusive velvet fabric was produced and released by the renowned Swedish design house Svenskt Tenn. The historical textile pattern dates back to 1925 and is based on a design by the French artist Germaine Labaye (originally titled “Chimpanzés dans végétation exotique” / Chimpanzees in Exotic Vegetation). Svenskt Tenn adapted this motif for their high-end interior and upholstery collections.
