First edition of the Shogun Table Lamp designed by Mario Botta for Artemide, Italy 1986. The Shogun lamp is now classed as a design icon – forming part of the Metropolitan Museum in New York’s collection. The lamp comprises adjustable double perforated diffusers that pivot upon a striped cylindrical base.
The structure of perforated steel creates beautiful plays of light and shadows that position themselves at will by moving the reflectors. Good vintage condition.
