Marcello Fantoni Sculptural Ceramic Object Face 1985
Very beautiful and unusual work from the late work of Marcello Fantoni, designed in the form of a woman’s head surrounded by a mason in earth-colored unglazed ceramic. This ceramic is reminiscent of Roman terracotta ceramics of antiquity paired with the style of mythological terracotta objects from Africa. This unique piece and the other two on my page were made especially for a very well-known ceramics collector in Padua. Signature Fantoni 1985
