Friedrich Geiler is one of the most important representatives of Concrete Constructivism in Germany. Influenced by the Swiss artists Richard Paul Lohse (1902-1988) and Max Bill (1908-1994), he began experimenting with Concrete Constructivist art forms in the 1960s, which he realized in both painting and sculpture, usually “in rich, radiant colors.” From 1969, he studied Constructive Design at the Strasbourg Academy of Fine Arts. Friedrich Geiler lives and works in Kehl am Rhein. He achieved his first international successes in the early 1970s and exhibited his works in over 150 international exhibitions in New York, Paris, Miami, Hong Kong, Amsterdam, and Zurich.
