Ferruccio Laviani Tiberio Matelasse Sideboard for Emmemobili Italy 2017
Outstanding sideboard designed by Ferruccio Laviani for Emmemobili in 2017. The sideboard is made with oak in a ‘matelassé’ tile effect. The opening are four hinged doors with a brass burnished base and one glass shelf per space.
Designing by playing with contrasts between rigorous shapes and soft decorations. The result is Tiberio Matelassé, characterised by a frame and storage volume that would be pure rationality if they were not made more welcoming by such a precious and comfortable texture. A combination that makes the object pleasant and unique.
