The Sugarchair consists of candy. You can sit on it. You can eat it. You can enjoy it as an object to be interpreted in many ways: Object to be consumed – at the risk of destroying it. Object to be preserved – with it’s limits in use.

Fabian Gatermann’s Sugarchair is the output of his consume-critical theory, written down in his master’s theses. Short and crisp: No utilization without abrasion.

The chair is also available in a wooden version.
