Aldo Tura Oval Bar Cart Red Goatskin 1960s

Wonderful bar cart made by Aldo Tura,Italy in the 1960s.

The bar cart was executed in lacquered red goatskin with brass applications and includes a bottle holder and it is in excellent condition.

Along with artists like Piero Fornasetti and Carlo Bugatti, Aldo Tura (1909-1963) definitely belonged to the mavericks of Italian design. Whereas the former chose abundant figurative decorations as his hallmark, Bugatti and Tura focussed on applying a specific material. Tura founded his workshop in Milan in 1939 and the company has been in operation ever since.
