Aldo Tura Green Goatskin Tray Bar Set
Elegant bar set made by Aldo Tura Milan, Italy 1960s.
The wooden frame is covered with green color goatskin, varnished in clear acrylic lacquer, brass and golden ornaments. This bar set was executed, circa 1960s and good vintage condition. 75 H x 100 W x 44 D cm
Along with artists like Piero Fornasetti and Carlo Bugatti, Aldo Tura (1909-1963) definitely belonged to the mavericks of Italian design. Where as the former chose abundant figurative decorations as his hallmark, Bugatti and Tura focussed on applying a specific material. Tura founded his workshop in Milan in 1939 and the company has been in operation ever since.
