Aldo Tura Two Color Goatskin Pipe Bar Cart
Aldo Tura bar cart in form of a pipe, lacquered in brown and cream goatskin with golden brass applications and a huge container as champagne or wine cooler.
This particular bar cart was executed, circa 1960 and is in very good vintage condition.
Along with artists like Piero Fornasetti and Carlo Bugatti, Aldo Tura (1909-1963) definitely belonged to the mavericks of Italian design. Where as the former chose abundant figurative decorations as his hallmark, Bugatti and Tura focussed on applying a specific material. Tura founded his workshop in Milan in 1939 and the company has been in operation ever since.
