Elegant Aldo Tura parchment bar cabinet with brass details.
This beautiful small cabinet was mirrored inside with two glass shelves, and has a to open mirrored bar case on the top and an upper brass inset plate.All are in excellent original vintage condition. This particular bar cart was executed, circa 1960 and is in excellent condition.
Along with artists like Piero Fornasetti and Carlo Bugatti, Aldo Tura (1909-1963) definitely belonged to the mavericks of Italian design. Where as the former chose abundant figurative decorations as his hallmark, Bugatti and Tura focussed on applying a specific material. Tura founded his workshop in Milan in 1939 and the company has been in operation ever since.
