Huge Barovier Treccia Table Wall Mirror Picture Frame Signed 1940s
Enhance your home with this exquisite vintage table mirror with picture frame, handcrafted in the 1940s by the legendary Italian glassmaker Barovier & Toso on the island of Murano near Venice. This rare collector’s item features a spectacular, solid rim of clear, mouth-blown Murano glass. The characteristic “torchon/treccia” technique (twisted rope/braid) beautifully captures and reflects light. The elegant inner frame and distinctive, ribbed trim at the bottom are crafted from high-quality, polished brass. Thanks to its versatile design, this multifunctional piece can be used elegantly as a vanity mirror, a luxurious picture frame, or mounted directly on the wall. A prime example of mid-20th-century Italian craftsmanship and timeless Art Deco elegance.
The mirror is in very good vintage condition and is signed on the back with Barovier Toso Murano. A new mirror glass can be supplied.
