Aldo Tura Red Goatskin Nesting Tables Set of Three 1960

Elegant nesting tables designed by the renowned Italian designer Aldo Tura in the 1960s and 1970s. They are considered a prime example of luxurious Mid-Century Modern and Hollywood Regency furniture design. The tables are known for their signature deep red lacquered goatskin (also called parchment) tabletops. Tura’s characteristic technique features a unique, marble-like, speckled texture beneath a thick, protective layer of high-gloss lacquer. The vibrant red surfaces harmonize perfectly with the elegant, slender frames and legs made of solid beechwood stained mahogany. The space-saving nesting tables can be easily pushed together and stacked when not fully extended. Excellent vintage condition with no signs of wear on the tabletops.
