Aldo Tura Green Goatskin Nesting Tables Set of Two 1970

Elegant nesting tables designed by the famous Italian designer Aldo Tura during the 1960s to 1970s. They represent a prime example of high-end Mid-Century Modern and Hollywood Regency luxury furniture design. The tables are celebrated for their distinctive emerald green lacquered goatskin (or parchment) tabletops. This signature technique by Tura features a unique, mottled, marble-like texture underneath a thick, protective high-gloss clear coat. The vibrant green surfaces are beautifully paired with elegant, slender frames and legs crafted from solid brass. The legs feature subtle decorative rings near the joints and are unified by minimalist rectangular perimeter cross-stretchers. Engineered as space-saving nesting tables, they can easily slide and stack underneath each other when not fully extended. Excellent vintage condition with no marks of usage on the top.
