Franco Legler Bast Stools 1961
Two wicker stools designed in 1951 by Swiss designer Gian Franco Legler and produced by Bonaccina (Italy). The chairs and the stools were originally designed for the Basket Restaurant in Italy and have won the ‘Good Design Award’ from the MoMA in 1953. All four legs are lined with plastic to increase its strength, and enable outdoor use. The chairs and the stools are in very good vintage condition.
